SAMBA CLUB - Roda De Samba

Presentation of Samba Club.

 

 

Samba Club is a musical and cultural project from Nantes, created and organised by Michel Canhoto in collaboration with Jérôme Lepelletier and Cyril Ropert.

 

Each first Sunday of every month, this « Roda de Samba » brings public and musicians together around a table playing traditional Brazilian songs, compositions and other improvisations, which is a caracteristic of this kind of music.

 

Each edition, Samba Club tries to propose the coming of different artists from the 4 corners of Europe to join the Roda de Samba. This effort favorises meetings, contribuates to disclose Samba around France and Europe and gives a new touch, much appreciated by the public.

 

Samba Club is above all a musical project, but would be useless without the presence of Brazilian typical dishes. During our concerts, you can enjoy tasty dishes such as Feijoada, Acarajé, Churrasco (Barbecue), Brazilian tapas and much more delights from this gastronomy.

 

At Samba Club, you will come to sing, dance, talk and eat Brazilian. You are awaited these Sundays under the label of smile, joy and conviviality.
